It’s the 7th month of the year already! Can you believe it? I think I say this every month but 2018 has been a complete whirlwind for us. Actually, the past 12 months have been a complete whirlwind for us, but it just keeps on going. I think July and August might be the only two months we haven’t planned anything for.
Anyway, reminiscing on June, let’s get into our Top 3 favorite things.
Vermont
I think this is a no-brainer. If you’ve read my Vermont Recap, you’ll know I absolutely adored Vermont. Between the picturesque views, being right next to Lake Champlain, the sense of community, and the food. I think it’s by far my favorite place we’ve been to so far. Am I moving there one day? Take my word on this. I definitely am.
Putnam Pantry
This was Jay’s favorite place as a kid. Mine was Richardson’s Ice Cream and Mini-Golf. If you live in Massachusetts and never been to either, I would strongly recommend you try one of them. Putnam Pantry has an ice cream buffet and homemade candy shop. We both made our ice cream sundaes (Jay’s was obviously bolder than my Vanilla and whipped cream) and after that, we picked up some homemade chocolate truffles and called it the perfect end to a hectic week.
GLOW
Aside from Friends, How I Met Your Mother, and The Office – GLOW is up there with my favorites. The first season came out last year and season 2 came out June 29th. It might look silly, but the feel of the 80’s, the music, the neon colors, and the start of female wrestling, totally immerses you. If you don’t think I stayed up all night to binge watch the entire season, you clearly don’t know me.
