Hiii & Happy October! Thanks for being so patient with us while we were on hiatus for the month of September but we’re back and in the best month of them all! Not much happened during September, but let’s get started on our Top 3!
Anniversary
September 28th is our relationship and wedding anniversary. It was important to us to keep them on the same date so September 28th is our 7th anniversary together and our 1st wedding anniversary making it really special. To celebrate, we got the top tier of our wedding cake remade and as I’m writing this, the two of us are currently on a road trip through Upstate New York and Canada, winging it every step of the way.
Nintendo Switch
Now this was an impulse buy because neither of us had it in mind but for some reason we had started talking about the old Nintendo games and just had to get it. Mario Kart has been our go to. Jay of course has to get first place every time but I always come in a close 2nd (sometimes 7th.) Anyway, it’s kept us thoroughly entertained and on the verge of divorce with every round.
Fall Decorating
It took everything in me, as well as a few strict talks from Jay, to refrain from putting up my fall decorations. So after what seemed like forever, the second the date on my phone turned to September 1st, I pulled out my fall box, and emptied it all out on the counter, then got to work. It’s 100% my favorite thing to do because now my house just feels so cozy and warm, just for the season.
